Our small groups are all following the ONE PRAYER themes we discus on Sunday. My two coffee groups are keeping me fully caffeinated. They say nobody likes a decaffeinated preached...ha! Looking forward to a great summer connecting with people, plus a trip down to the sandy beaches of Florida!!! Wishing everybody a great summer!!!

Our long term vision is to have three campuses in the city, plus plant churches in the surrounding cities in North Alabama. We have launched our second campus and our next step is to establish an operations center to train, plan and prepare for everything God has placed in our hearts. We are working on finding the location for the operations center. We will also have three strong campuses, each with its own facility. Our heart is to make church easy for the people. We want to be the best at encouraging the and building up the people God sends our way. There is so much LIFE and excitement right now at Building Church. I am just overwhelmed with the incredible group of people God has surrounded us with! We have also shared the goal of having a Global Command Center to reach nations of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These are just a few of the things God has placed in our heart. Can you imagine all that God has planned for Building Church? Every day is an awesome day of seeing what God is doing! Thanks to Church of the Highlands for letting us borrow their series!!! Highlands is a Kingdom minded church with a pastor everybody calls TP...the "total package" Chris Hodges.
We just launched out LIFE SERIES. Randy started the series off with a great message on Faith. I was thinking that everything we do for God requires faith. It is the key to open the impossible doors and see God move in a significant way. I have never had everything I needed to start what God led me to start. There is an element of faith that always has to be released. Sometimes I wish I had everything I needed...it seems safer, but faith walks into the unsafe and dares to do impossible. It sure is a lot more exciting! Saturday is the big Monte Sano EASTER Extravaganza. Many Easter Eggs, football, Cajun food and lots of great fellowship. I always look forward to these church wide events. It is a lot of fun. I think I will still be first string quarter back. It is my destiny. Ha! Sunday is Easter and our LIFE series will be focused on Hope. I think that is a message that flows out of me. I never have a hard time preparing for hope messages. The Bible is so full of hope and people need to know it. There is a lot of fear about the future of our country. Tea parties springing up, protesting the direction of our nation, but God is in control. Let no your heart be troubled, Jesus is still in charge.
Friday we headed over to Memphis with part of our team from Building Church for the MAKE ROOM conference. It was so refreshing to hear John Siebelings story about how his church started. He and his wife Leslie are the real deal. Their church is now close to 3,000 people! What an awesome team they have over there. It kind of reminds me of the Building Church team!! This conference worked on our skills to make Building Church move closer to the destiny we have in the Huntsville area. We are moving to the next level!
You can check out more about the servolution project at www.servolution.org . This is our heart at Building Church; we want to be where Jesus would be if he came to Huntsville physically today. There is going to be a lot of opportunities for us to serve the homeless, cleaning up our city, helping widows and single moms, plus reaching out to the elderly. It is going to be great!!
We also went over our progress as church planters in every region of the world. Over 19,000 churches have been planted in 9 years with over 100 denominations. Wow, what an honor to be part of this project. God's favor has definitely been on us as a team. I have 53 pictures of our summit up on facebook if you if you want to check them out. We are looking forward to another great Sunday this week. I can hardly wait to see what God is going to do. A number of new families that were not able to be at the launch, said they would be there this Sunday. So we are excited about a good number of new people joining us this week. We give God the credit for all He is doing! It is always about Him and His plan! We are rolling two more weeks with The World is Not Enough. I have had such a great time doing this series. It is soooo God's heart for us. To fill us and complete us. Our next series will be called Journey. It is also going to be a lot of fun. Conferences finished...Servolution Coming
Servolution
is coming April 3-9 and I am pumped about this concerted effort to
love our city closer to Jesus. We will be taking teams out to
serve our community and end this time of serving with our big Easter
service.

Starting
of faith and to sustain us we have to develop in our character.
I guess that the strength of my pastor has to be in the area of
character. I am so glad to be connected with him. There
is a lot of weirdness and junk going on but it is so refreshing to
see the real deal!!
"The
Journey" and I know we are going to have a lot of fun with this. We
will be taking some ideas from the book, "The Pilgrims Progress".
Our goal is to help us have more clarity about our walk with God. It
is not so mysterious we cannot understand it and so our goal is to
discuss simple truths that keep us on the narrow path to heaven!
